First Day of school !!

Me.. But not very flattering..more like fattering . HAHAH ;)

Today I woke up super sleepy and got ready for my first day of school . All morning I was terrified knowing I wouldn't fit in or be able to be a normal student . When I got there I did not like it . I felt out of place and lonely . I was shy and I had to read things that did not even make sense to me . For my classwork I wrote down everybody's name and then I did a crossword puzzle . That was so stupid . But anyways, everyone was nice enough and my teacher is like 500 years old but she is nice . At the break I met one of the schools english teachers and it felt good to speak english ! haha ! then a girl who I still have NO idea who she is, dragged me all around the hallways and told everybody where I was from then she kissed me goodbye like we had been friends forever, it was so weird ! Then after the break a boy kept trying to teach me what a bunch of different things were like a pencil pouch, a pen, a book, and my diary . At this school you have a "diary" that you write your schedule and homework in, like an agenda . Later, another teacher came and she spoke a little bit of English . She told me that the boys think I am a very "sexful" girl ! haha . I laughed so hard at that . The rest of the day was alright . I didn't have an absolutely amazing first day but it went A LOT better then I though . Except I was the only person in shorts so you wont be seeing those for a while !

After school we took Winston to the vet and he got 2 shots and he SCREAMED , a full on scream ! It was so sad !! But after he just came home and fell right asleep . The vet said he would be tired for 24 hours but right now he is jumping all about the house like an idiot . I am going to bed . Good night !

Day 26

Wow . Its been a month.. it feels like two days ago I was riding my bike to alyssas house and going to the movies on the weekends . I miss that . I am already fed up with here . Its the same thing everyday . School starts in 2 days . I am scared . Today I met two girls who live next door . They are 11 tho & in first grade, I'm in second . I was going to build a dog house for Winston and Max (the puppy were getting in 2 weeks) . Then those girls came and I went to their house . They have a dog that is huge but its only 3 months old, like Winston . It was like love at first sight . Bow chika wow wow . Then Winston pooped and we discovered he has worms:( ew . I am so paranoid now and I saw pictures of different ones and they're so gross !! Tonight we are doing nothing and I am very VERY bored . About 3 months until I come home for Christmas.. I hope it comes fast !

Cefalu!!!

My mom and I packed up the car yesterday morning , locked winston up by the pizza oven , and drove to Cefalu for two days . When we got there , there were dark clouds and big winds so we went to our hotel and checked in and headed down town . We went for a walk, bought postcards, and sat at "Bar Duomo" . Its right in the center by the Cathedral . I saw some postcards and bought a couple for friends (including lily) and I saw a really funny one of a lady with boobs showing so I made my mom go buy it to send to Alyssa . Hahah ! We took lots of great pictures on the big camera, and we don't have that cord so I will upload those when I get home . After my mom had wine, and I had an ice cream or something we went for lunch at my favorite restaurant that's right on the water.. you'll see pictures soon enough . After lunch we went back to the room and hung out on our computers for a while since we have wireless Internet & can watch 50 movies if we want since we don't have limited GB . We went on a walk to the beach later once it had cleared up but the sand was wet and the water was icy cold . Then for dinner we shared a four cheese pizza and a shrimp cocktail . yum ! (: then my mom bought two books in English and we went back to the hotel for bed .

Today we got up nice and early, which is nine for me haha . Then we had a pastry each, my mom had a cappucino, and I had a juice and a glass of milk (the picture) . After that we went on a walk back to the hotel and chillaxed haha . It poured for a while then we went down to the beach and it cleared up really nice and hot . Then it got so humid and those horrible clouds came back so we had a panini..then it started the pour very hard and it got so cold that we came back . As we step foot into the hotel my mom realized I had forgot to bring her bag so I ran back down the street in flipflops and froze my butt off to get her bag.. which was still sitting there . We've been reading and doing out blogs for 45 minutes now and the sun is back out so we might go back down to the beach :) write soon..xox .

Ps- we saw some tourists taking a tour and one of them posed and waved while we took pictures.. it made me laugh so I've uploaded one off the camera, but the funny lady isnt in it . The other picture is of a little fruit market that has yummy looking fruit .

Its so weird to type here again.. I am so used to facebook I just want to type statuses on here.. hahaha . Well, heres a little bit about my family . My dads parents are Nona and Nono.. thats who they are to everybody except their kids.. in November Nono passed away..RIP.. Their kids are (in order of age) and children (in parentheses) Pino (Mario/Roberto), Angelo (Tanya/Mario), Gino (Carlo/Julie/Fabio/Myself) , Antonia (Luigi/Linda/Giovanni/Sonia) , Rosa(Analisa/Franceso), then Lina(Valentina/Michelle[pronounced like mee-keh-leh]) . Pino is married to another Rosa and they live in Vancouver . Angelo is married to Sylvanna and they live in Enna . My dad obviously lives in Enna and is married to my mom Connie but his other kids live in Vancouver . Antonia lives here in Enna as well and she is married to Angelo . Rosa is married to Tony and they live in Vancouver also . Then there is Lina who is married to Tanino and they both live in Enna too... then their kids have kids too but I'm too tired to explain that.. and we have so many random cousins and seconds cousins its crazy . We know like all of Enna . haha . Ok I am done typing about family.. k byee .

Welome ?

Heyy . Well I haven't done a blog in a reaalllyy long time, and I don't know who's actually going to read this, but I'll give it my best shot . First off- I'm in Sicily . My mom, my dad, and I moved here on August 15th . I don't like it, but I'm supposed to try it for one year, if I can survive . At first I really hated it, but I guess now I'm more excepting of it.. even if I don't want to be here . I do have some fun times, but through most of them I am wishing to be home . I miss California so much.. its my home, and where I belong.. but one year wont kill me and its an "experience" . So I guess I will have to try it . We live in a huge house in the countryside.. but we have a lot of neighbors . The house just doesn't feel like home.. it feels empty and dry and not comfortable . But maybe that will change once the container comes and brings all of our furniture and stuff . Also, once I've unpacked all my boxes in my room and I have my blankets and pictures and books . It really is so different here, I dream every night . Its so crazy . I never wanna wake up, when I'm asleep I think I'm back in California and a lot of times I wake up frustrated that I'm not and sometimes I even wake up in the middle of the night and cry . The days here are pretty much the same . You wake up, go shopping for food or run errands or something then you eat lunch, you sleep, you wake up, you go out and do something "exciting" till midnight or longer, then you go home and fall asleep and it happens again.. I just love it.. not . Well, there is the main idea of my life right now .
